Police in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh say they have recovered 19 bodies after a bus fell into a river on Monday. The bus skidded off a narrow mountain road and rolled at least 150 metres before plunging into the Ravi river, 500km (300 miles) north of Delhi.
A district police official told the BBC 18 of the bodies had been identified.
The state is giving families of the dead 5,000 rupees ($110) compensation. No-one survived the plunge.
