Police in Bangladesh have arrested 47 people in the south-eastern district of Khulna, following the deaths of two policemen in the area. The bodies of the policemen were recovered from a river on Friday morning.
Police officials say the bodies were thrown into the river after the two men were shot dead.
The motorcycle on which they were travelling was also found submerged in the river.
The two policemen had gone to the area to investigate a crime in a village market.
This is the latest in a series of attacks on police personnel in Bangladesh - 11 policemen have been killed in the last six months.
