Haji Abdul Qadir - appointed Public Works Minister in June's loya jirga - was leaving his office when he was attacked  Gunmen burst from bushes, fired at the minister and then escaped in a car  More than 30 bullets smashed the windows of the car  Mr Qadir was shot in the head; his driver was also killed  The minister's guards were arrested and security was stepped up after the shooting | |
