PIA to resume flights to Nepal

Pakistan International Airlines has announced it is restarting flights to Nepal, following India's decision to re-open its airspace to planes from Pakistan.

The airline said the twice weekly flights from Pakistan's business capital, Karachi, to the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu, would resume shortly.

India lifted its six-month ban on Pakistani commercial flights on Monday, as a conciliatory gesture to ease tensions with Pakistan over the disputed territory of Kashmir.
