The actor, Salman Khan, and his colleagues are alleged to have killed two black buck and an Indian gazelle during a break in filming for a Hindi movie. The other four have been granted bail. The authorities have conducted a fresh post mortem on the black buck -- an endangered species -- and now say the animals were shot. They initially said they'd died of other causes. The incident has led to public protests against the film stars. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
