A spokesman for the Himalayan Rescue Association said the two bodies were of Flight Sergeant Michelle Hackett of the Australian Air Force, and her nine-year-old daughter. Three other trekkers are still missing. They include Michelle Hackett's husband, also of the Australian Air Force, an Israeli trekker and a Nepalese porter. The trekkers were part of an Australian army support team for an Everest expedition, and were thought to be returning to the resort town of Pokhara from Annapurna base camp when the avalanche struck.
