More forests planned to tackle climate change

The most ambitious tree planting programme since the Second World War is being "enthusiastically welcomed" by ministers.

The BBC has been told that as part of the campaign to tackle climate change, the government is set to agree that another 4% of land in the UK should be turned into forest.
