UK's 'most venomous' spider

An invasive species of false widow is the UK's most venomous spider, says Stuart Hine from the Natural History Museum.

Steatoda nobilis is thought to have first arrived in the UK from the Mediterranean in the late 1800s.

For many decades, it remained in a small area within Devon, but about 15 years ago it began to spread; and it can now be spotted all around the South Coast.

Some people can suffer a bad reaction to its bite.
