1230 - 1300: A special programme broadcast on BBC1 and BBC News 24 live from Kew Gardens, examining the impact of climate change on Britain. The programme will feature live broadcasts from diminishing ski slopes in Scotland and the flood-threatened east of England.

1730 - 1800: A BBC News 24 special programme live from Kew Gardens looking at how climate change is affecting Britain's plants and animals.
1930 - 2000: A BBC News 24 special panel discussion looking at alternative energy sources.
Hardtalk (0430 and 2330): Lyse Doucet interviews scientist James Lovelock, the founder of Gaia theory, who believes nuclear power is one of the few things that could save us from the effects of climate change.
FRIDAY 30 JULY

The programme will feature a panel discussion between the Chairman of Shell and representatives from Friends of the Earth and the European Environment Agency.
