By Eniola and Timothy, School Reporters from Abuja, Nigeria
Reporting from Pretoria, South Africa

The entire city of Pretoria is agog with a feverish excitement about the World Cup.

Everywhere is adorned with national flags of the participating countries and the residents all adorn the jersey of their national team - Bafana Bafana.

The deafening noise of the vuvuzela is everywhere. School kids, workers and government officials all took out time to participate in the Vuvuzela carnival to drum up support for the national team of South Africa.

Listen to Eniola and Timothy, from Abuja in Nigeria, interviewing South African students about the importance of the World Cup.

The pupils involved in this interview are all from schools taking part in the British Council's Connecting Classrooms project and will be working in partnership with School Report to provide on the spot reports. Read more about the partnership.
