On Monday 7 November three of us from St John Wall Catholic School were invited to attend the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley.
We did not know why we were going - only that we were going to work on the BBC News School Report project!
When we arrived we met Sarah from the BBC who explained that the Olympic Torch will be coming to the Black Country and we were going to travel on a 100-year-old tram, just like the torch will next year.
It was all very exciting! We liked the fact that we got to travel on an old-fashioned tram and experience what it would be like to travel in that period of time: the sounds and noises were amazing.
We also enjoyed seeing the canals they were very unique.
We learnt lots of facts about when the Olympic torch is going to come to the Black Country and what it meant to the people.
