Throughout the coming week, thousands of schoolchildren will be reporting on the news as the BBC's School Report swings into action.

Each year schools across the West Midlands sign up to take part in the project, which sees children reporting on the news in their area.

In Birmingham children from Baskerville School have been reporting on alternative uses for derelict land.
