Pupils at Hendon School sit down to fill in the School Report Survey, which aims to find out how 11 to 16-year-olds in the UK live their lives and what they think about topics such as sport, technology, the Royal Family and politics
Technology has been an integral part of the lives of the generation of schoolchildren who filled out the Survey, with mobile phones, computers and games consoles a part of everyday life for many
With the 2012 Olympics on the horizon, exercise is another key theme of the survey, with numerous media reports suggesting that children are doing less physical activity than in previous generations
With stories about the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton making headlines, the survey also investigates what young people feel about the monarchy in 2011
The survey looks into the issue of how many languages children speak with their friends and family in a multicultural UK
Another section of the survey asks what pupils would most to have achieved by the time they are 30 - perhaps buying a nice car, having a degree or owning a house?
The survey also asked children how they travelled to and from school
The full results of the Survey - which was filled out by more than 24,000 children from around the UK - will be released on School Report's News Day on 24 March
