Students at Halton High School in Runcorn have been investigating the serious problem of children dropping objects from bridges onto passing vehicles below.

"Stop the Drop" is a local campaign to raise awareness of the issue, Amy, a Year 8 student explained.

"The idea is to stop children throwing things off bridges onto cars and lorries," she said.

For their report she and her fellow student reporters have interviewed a local council official and a police officer on the campaign.

She said she hoped the report would "make people stop and think about what they're doing".
