Vietnam's songs of war relived

It was a cold-war conflict that lasted two decades.

The Vietnam War left millions dead and ultimately ended in failure for the American-led offensive to crush the Communists. But beyond the headlines of history, what about the stories of ordinary people caught up in that war?

That's the focus of Drought and Rain, a dance study about the Vietnamese women who sang to soldiers on the frontline. Kathy Harcombe reports.
