Changing perceptions of female soldiers

Women are still officially barred from combat in the US Armed Services.

But every day American women sustain injuries in combat, while many have sacrificed their lives on foreign soil.

We speak to author Laura Browder about her new book, When Janey Comes Marching Home, a collection of images and oral histories of women returning from combat.
