Kendall Stork has been part of the seafood industry since he was 14 years old.

But his livelihood - and that of the small hamlet of Bayou La Batre, Alabama - may have run into their biggest challenge yet.

The tiny town, known as the shrimp capital of Alabama, has rebuilt from the ground up, reviving after Hurricane Camille in 1969, Frederick in 1979 and Katrina in 2005.

But the hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil that threaten its shoreline and its summer harvest of shrimp, oyster, crab, and fish will not be so easy to clean up.
