It's been more than three weeks since Caster Semenya burst onto the sports scene with her surprise victory in the 800 meter world championships, and promptly set off a storm of controversy over her gender.

New and sensational media reports have led South Africa's sports minister to express 'disgust' at the continuing controversy.
