This photograph became a symbol of the war in Iraq. It ran in over 150 newspapers and some characterised the soldier as the "new Marlboro man", an icon of the American spirit. But, behind every photo is a story and this one belongs to James Blake Miller. He fought in the battle of Fallujah, 2004.
