The Big Zipper Challenge
Unzip your head
Set your imagination free and win great prizes
Unzip your mind and come up with a brilliant idea for improving your school or community.

If you do you could win the chance to appear on national television, a trip to London for a VIP "working lunch" and a digital video camera for your school.

Working Lunch has teamed up with the Design Council to find Britain's most creative brains.

The Challenge is to come up with an idea for a product or service that could benefit your school or community. Then put together a detailed business plan to support your idea.

You can do this on your own or as part of a team. Profit needn't be the main motivation but the product must be financially viable.

Send us your business plans before January 2002 and we'll select regional finalists. They'll get the chance to pitch their idea to a top panel of business and design experts.

The British Chambers of Commerce will be dispatching an army of real entrepreneurs to help you hone your pitch.

To enter, contact the Design Council for an application form and a Big Zipper Creativity pack. Write to: Emma Jenkins, Design Council, 34 Bow Street, London WC2E 7DL.

Or e-mail: [email protected].
