Plus, it's also portable enough to carry with you around the house or anywhere else you might want to take it.

Stations are selected using a circular dial on the front and you've also got a choice of five stations to pre-set.

But while it was easy to use, I had real problems trying to pick up certain stations, and moving it around the room didn't seem to help.

A perfect radio for the kitchen, this model looks good and is easy to use.

Tuning buttons help you move smoothly between different stations, and it picked up all of the ones I wanted to listen to with good sound quality.

You might pay a bit more for a Roberts than some of the other brands but this radio seems like a good solid choice for someone who wants a basic radio to rely on.
