Are you an organised Christmas shopper who buys presents months in advance or are you running down the high street at closing time on Christmas Eve? We wanted to find out exactly what the festive season means for our viewers' pockets so we asked you take part in our online poll.
Over 1,500 of you took part - you can see the full results by clicking on the link underneath the top picture.
We started by asking whether you are planning to shop on the high street, online, or a bit of both.
Most analysts say that they expect to see an increase in online sales - currently it's estimated that 5% of Christmas gifts are bought on the internet.
On trend
You seem to be right on trend, as half of our viewers say that they will be reaching for the computer to buy at least one of their gifts.
But remember if you are shopping online you have to be organised - there's no time for a last minute panic buy.
This year one of the biggest online retailers, Amazon, think their last ordering day to received a parcel on time will be the 20th of December.
In the last few years gift vouchers have fallen out of fashion, but with a growth in online music vouchers some expect to see a resurgence.
"Looking for bargains"
However, more than half of you told us you would rather buy a present - so it really is the thought that counts.
Kevin Hawkins from the British Retail Consortium expects retailers to be cautious this Christmas as inflation has risen - but the majority of you are planning to spend no more than last year.
"We've had a lot of bad news for consumers over the last few weeks. I think retailers are expecting that there's going to be a lot of discounting in the run up to Christmas. They are ready for that, but so are consumers, so they will be looking for bargains and discounts right from the word go," he told Working Lunch.
