| This week as in every other week of the year, the government will announce some new initiative or policy to put right something which is going wrong. All governments do this. They do it because they want to make our lives better they say. But the Daily Telegraph columnist Simon Heffer argues that governments intervene too much in our lives and although politicians want to make the world a better place for all of us, they fail to achieve this objection. In part two, he castigates British governments for sending our armed forces to fight in foreign conflicts.
