Fortune of Soldier
Al-Lousi: King of Clairvoyants
The future of Iraq may seem uncertain right now, but The State We're In has an exclusive insight to the future of its former dictator, Saddam Hussein.

As it was his birthday this week, The State We're In found out what the next 12 months hold in store, thanks to spiritual astrologist and former Baghdad citizen Al-Lousi.

We tracked down the man who has predicted for the Queen and Bill Clinton to his home in West London to find out what the future holds for Saddam.

Using Saddam's signature, his photograph and handwriting, Lousi Al-Alousi tells all.

The Signature

"Saddam, as we can see from his signature, started very low in life. As we can see he rose very quickly to command respect form those around him.

His name consists of 13 letters which is very mysterious. Arab leaders who have had 13 letters in their names have all met with a mysterious end

Al-Alousi
"His name consists of 13 letters which is very mysterious. Arab leaders who have had 13 letters in their names have all met with a mysterious end. For me though Saddam is still alive but no longer in Iraq.

The Photograph

"Saddam's picture is very interesting. His eyes tell us that he is ruthless, a man who can be violent in order to get his way. He was born on 29 April 1937 making him Taurus. Bullish. I believe his legacy will be around until 2012.

"He holds his hand over his people like Hitler and that means he rules with iron fist.

The Handwriting

"His handwriting tells me he still has wealth and can afford to hide from the world. His sons will meet with him again but the power he had will not return."

In Iraq they did not recognise mental strength, only physical

Al-Lousi
Lousi Al-Lousi was born in Baghdad in 1944 and left the country because of his disability.

He said: "In Iraq they did not recognise mental strength, only physical."

The origins of his family can be traced back to the prophet Mohammed. His father was the head of the Public Library in Baghdad. His mother was a gifted fortune teller who could predict the future from coffee grounds.

Saddam's Signature
He has predicted the fall of Communism and the rise of Tony Blair. He has made predictions for the Queen and former US President Bill Clinton.

He has also appeared on his own television show for Arabic satellite television.

He has claimed to have been visited by the Virgin Mary and works as a clairvoyant and magician in London.
