Diane and Stephen are chatting; Ed can't wait; but David isn't keen |
Hello, and welcome to the list of all the links we mentioned last time on The Daily Politics. Thanks for dropping by! This week, we looked mainly at one resource, which is called Hear From Your MP, and it's a constituency-based service which allows MPs to talk to their constituents or canvas their opinions.
We mentioned Diane Abbott's use of the site, as well as Stephen Williams'. Ed Vaizey needs only six more people to sign up in Wantage, and he can start talking to them. And the MP for Brighton, Pavilion who has so far declined to talk to his constituents, is called David Lepper. His own website is here: it's got a great store of Labour Party leaflets if such things float your boat, but not much by way of communication.
And the good citizens among you might be interested in other sites, which make government more available and accessible, like The Public Whip and Downing Street Says, many of which are linked to in the right-hand column of this page.
If you've spotted a great political site you think we should know about, do drop us a line to alan.connor@bbc.co.uk, or using the form below.
Mind how you surf.
