Liberal Democrat Danny Alexander and Labour's Ken Livingstone row over taxing bankers' bonuses, on BBC Question Time.
They each blamed one another's government's for failing to adequately regulate the banks.
The debate came following a question about whether the panel would rather be a "Child of Thatcher" or a "Son of Brown", after Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour leader Ed Miliband traded barbs in the House of Commons following documents leaked by Wikileaks.
