It has been split into several key themes upon which the government is looking to canvass opinion.

These are: The BBC today, a changing landscape, publicly-funded services and functions, commercial services, paying for the BBC, organisation and infrastructure, governance, regulation and constitution, accountability and the destination.

All people who respond to the consultation website will have their comments published unless they specifically ask not to or unless there are legal reasons for not publishing the response.
