| |  Friday, 22 March, 2002, 17:45 GMT "Outstanding Public Service in Broadcasting" Panorama award for "Outstanding Public Service in Broadcasting" Panorama has won a special award from the Voice of the Listener and Viewer (VLV). BBC One's flagship current affairs series had been shortlisted for several previous VLV awards, but this year it was singled out for a "Special Award for Outstanding Public Service in Broadcasting". The VLV 2001 Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting took place on Thursday, 21 March. All awards are nominated and selected by listeners and viewers rather than professional peers. | |
