| ![]() Panorama Poll A poll conducted for Panorama: Britain on the Brink shows seventy-five per cent public support for the UK standing "shoulder to shoulder" with the United States. However, if Osama Bin Laden is killed, captured or handed over, more than half those questioned would not support further military action. The poll also reveals that most British people do not feel more at risk of terrorist attack than they did before the 11 September attacks and would be unwilling to accept an influx of refugees from the region should the situation deteriorate. The questions in the Panorama poll were: Q1. Do you agree that Britain should stand shoulder to shoulder with the USA or do you disagree? Agree 76% Q2. If the Taliban hand over Bin Laden or he is killed, do you think military action should stop there? Yes 56% Q3. After the terrorist attacks in the USA do you fear the risks of you and your family being caught in a terrorist attack are greater, less or about the same as before? Greater 32% Q5. Thinking about the people you know, since the terrorist attacks in the USA do you think they are more hostile towards Muslims here in Britain, less hostile or do you think it has made no difference once way or the other?
