| Journalist and author Natasha Walter caught the media's attention in January 1998 with the publication of her groundbreaking treatise The New Feminism, in which she set out her vision for 21st century feminism. After studying at Cambridge and Harvard, Natasha quickly became an established newspaper and TV commentator and writes a regular column for The Independent. In 1999 she edited On the Move: Feminism for a New Generation, a collection of essays, also published by Virago.
