Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill has made a statement to parliament explaining his reasons for releasing the Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi.

After the debate Kirsty Wark spoke to the Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond. She began by asking him why Mr MacAskill had to go and meet Mr Megrahi in person in prison.
