If you were trying to set economic hard times to music, you could do worse than pick the Blues. In its earliest days in the States, it was the soundtrack of the cotton plantation and of segregation. One man who has been playing the Blues ever since those times is its undisputed master, guitarist BB King. Newsnight's culture correspondent Stephen Smith went to Philadelphia to meet him.
