Mad cow disease risk from donated blood

The government is to announce today that a haemophiliac contracted vCJD, the human form of mad cow disease, from the blood products used to treat him.

Susan Watts investigates if all donated blood should be screened and if donors whose blood tests positive for a disease which is so far incurable should be told.
