 | BBC Radio 4's Money Box Live Wednesday, 12 October 2011 at 1502 BST On Radio 4 and Online |
A new minimum wage, more rights for temps, and the end of compulsory retirement - just some of the big changes we've seen to worker's rights over the past few weeks. These changes will be welcomed by many, but at a time of rising unemployment, and increased redundancies, there are big challenges facing employers and employees. Money Box Live with Vincent Duggleby and guests will attempt to answer all your employment rights at work questions. If you are an agency worker, what extra rights do you now have? If you are an employer where can you obtain advice about all the changes you have to implement? What is your position if your employer is reducing hours or making redundancies? Do you want advice about flexible working? How is the default retirement age being phased out? Vincent Duggleby was joined by: • Sarah Veale, Head of Equality and Employment Rights, TUC • Carolyn Brown, Partner at Finers Stephens Innocent • Clive Howard, Partner, Russell Jones Walker Presenter: Vincent Duggleby Producer: Fiona Woods
