The deadline for filing your paper 2010/11 tax return is midnight on Monday 31 October 2011. Those who file online have until the 31st January 2012 to submit their return.

If your return is late HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)will charge an automatic £100 penalty. Further fines are payable if you do nothing.
