Paul Lewis and guests took your calls on benefit problems including child tax credits. The Government has announced further major reforms to the benefits system in a bid to reduce its annual budget of around £192 million. Higher rate taxpayers' child benefit will be cut - hitting those earning more than £44,000 a year. The Chancellor George Osborne has also outlined plans for a maximum limit on the amounts of benefits one family can claim. It's estimated that 50,000 households may be affected by the cap, planned for 2013. These changes, coupled with a reduction in the number of those eligible to claim child tax credits from April 2011, will mean big cuts to middle income working families. Will you be affected by the cuts to child benefit? Or the cap on the amount of benefits your family can claim? Will you be considering tax planning to lessen the impact of these changes? On a wider point- are you worried that your benefits have been wrongly calculated and what that might mean for you? Presenter: Paul Lewis Producer: Lesley McAlpine
