Paul Lewis and guests answered your questions about rights at work on Wednesday's programme. It is 40 years since the Equal Pay Act was passed, to prevent discrimination between men and women in terms of pay and conditions of employment. Yet the Fawcett Society say that today, women working full-time, earn on average 17% less per hour than men working full-time. The gap rises to 20% for ethnic minority women and 36% per hour for women working part-time. If you have a question about pay, terms and conditions or fairness in the workplace, Paul Lewis and a panel of experts will be ready to offer guidance and advice. What are the rules around working hours, regular breaks and annual leave? Where can you get help if you are facing discrimination at work? Are you working in a safe environment? Do you want advice about flexible working? Can you arrange time off for parental leave or family emergencies? Or perhaps you are concerned about losing your job? Paul Lewis was joined by: • Sarah Veale, head of equality and employment rights, TUC • Jane Mann, head of employment, Fox Williams • Karen Mortenson, Senior Solicitor, Finers Stephens Innocent Presenter: Paul Lewis Producer: Diane Richardson
