Who will pay the price?

The disruption caused by the Icelandic volcano has cleared but as the dust - or ash - settles Money Box reporter Wesley Stephenson hears from people who were caught up in the travel chaos.

Many of them have spent hundreds of pounds and now face weeks of uncertainty about exactly how much they will get back from their airline or insurance company.

The programme also hears from Nick Harris, head of International travel law at Simpsonmillar.

Rising Inflation

The UK Inflation rate has risen sharply to 3.4% in March from 3 % the month before, according to official figures released this week. Although according to the Retail Price Index it's hit 4.4%

It seems to have taken economists and the Bank of England by surprise. Higher petrol prices are partly to blame, the Office For National Statistics (ONS) has said.

It's a long way from the heady days last year when the Retail Price Index was actually negative for eight months.

So should we be worried or will inflation head back down towards its target of 2%, as the Bank Of England believes?
