On Wednesday's programme Paul Lewis and guests answered your calls on saving and investing.

It has been a poor year for savers with many having to choose between low interest rates or locking their money away in longer term products.

In November the consumer prices index (CPI) rose to 1.9%, up from 1.5 per cent in October, further eroding the value of savings.

Is your account paying the best rate of interest?
