Around six million people in the UK are carers and it is estimated that a further six thousand people take on a caring responsibility every day. Research by Carers UK found that 72% are worse off financially as a result this responsibility. Over three million people try to combine work with regular care, but the demands of caring forces one in five employees to give up work altogether. If you care for somebody and have a question about accessing support or financial help, Paul Lewis and guests will be waiting to help.
