On Wednesday's programme Vincent Duggleby and guests took your calls about tax and self assessment.

The deadline for filing paper tax returns is just over one month away.

If you received a notice to complete a tax return on or before 31 July, and you want to file on paper, you must do so by 31 October.

If your return arrives on time, HMRC will calculate your tax for you and tell you what to pay by the following 31 January. File late and you'll be charged an automatic £100 penalty.

The deadline for online returns is 31 January.
