On Wednesday's programme Vincent Duggleby and guests took your calls about student finance. Students taking up university places this autumn can expect to graduate with debts of around £23,000, according to the latest debt survey from student advice website Push. If you are starting your course this year or considering an application for 2010/11, you may have a question about financing your study. What are the likely costs and what help is available? How will the course tuition fees be paid? Who is entitled to a student loan for maintenance? Where can you find information about scholarships and bursaries? How much can you borrow and what interest rate will be charged? Whether you are studying in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, if you have a question about student finance Vincent and guests will be ready to offer advice and information. Vincent was joined by: • David Malcolm, student finance researcher, National Union of Students • Alan Scott, Operational Policy Manager, SAAS • Keith Houghton, Head of Student Funding Service at Kingston University Presenter: Vincent Duggleby Producer: Diane Richardson
