BBC Radio 4's Money Box Live was broadcast on Monday, 7 April 2008, at 1502 BST. On Monday's programme, presenter Paul Lewis took your calls and e-mails on benefits and tax credits and put them to a panel of expert guests. There are two major changes to the benefits system on the way. From October 2008, the Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) will replace incapacity benefit and income support for new claimants. The way housing benefit is calculated for private tenants is also changing with the introduction of Local Housing Allowance (LHA) on 7 April 2008. Are you receiving all the benefits to which you are entitled? Do you understand how the new employment and support allowance will work? Will you be affected by the changes to housing benefit? Perhaps you have had problems with the tax credit system, and want advice about what steps you can take. Paul Lewis was joined by: Paddy Cullen, Disability Alliance Sally West, Age Concern Eddy Graham, Child Poverty Action Group Presenter: Paul Lewis Producer: Jennifer Clarke
