Excellent programme and I hope to see more of it too in spite of what some viewers think. Only if you didn't care about where our tax money goes you would be able to say that this is "atrocious rubbish". Keep it up!

There were so many flaws in your tabloid coverage only the most foolish viewers could have missed the real point of your programme - get Tony Blair.
David Wilson
I found your programme on quangos most revealing. I have applied to several bodies for which I believe I am qualified with a view to making a contribution to society. I was surprised at some of the questions in the application pack and began to wonder if it was jobs for the Labour boys.
Neil McAllister
Given that all the information you collected is already in the public domain, I do hope you make your database available to the public.
Phil Packer
Brilliant programme. Even though the format was slightly too jumpy for my taste. I suppose that was an attempt to appeal to the youth. But how excellent to see a well-researched programme on a subject that really matters. Well done BBC.
Adele Waters
As usual Kenyon takes what could be a fantastic subject and through over-sensationalism ends up with a piece of junk journalism. Please get back to serious, balanced reporting. We do not all read The Sun.

I hope never to see such atrocious rubbish on the BBC again
Excellent programme, I always believed the BBC would not upset the government of the day. How wrong I was. One of the best programmes on the TV. Keep up the good work.
Martin Smith
This programme was an absolute disgrace. What on earth did it show? A few staunch Labour strongholds donating money to the Labour Party only to get it given back again. Where on earth do you find people to make such an appalling show. Did it show anything new? Did it show anything of any consequence? No. It would make even Tony Blair's spin-doctors wince. I hope to never see such atrocious rubbish on the BBC again.
H Jenkins
I have not felt the need to congratulate a programme so worthy of being screened at peak time. Absolutely brilliant. Please keep these reports coming. You are doing a splendid job and Britain needs to be kept properly informed.

I have despised quangos since the Thatcher years
This was an example of poor quality tabloid journalism. The BBC can do better than this. The statistics were flawed. For example, it is only natural the majority of politically active quango members in Scotland are Labour supporters. The vast majority of Scots are pro-Labour. The Tories have virtually no presence in Scotland. Quangos are accountable to an elected government, therefore they are indirectly accountable to the people. And there is nothing wrong with having specialists control certain areas of the government.

Excellent programme. I have despised quangos since the Thatcher years. And I thought Labour was the party of democracy. As a member of the electorate approaching 60 I should have known better. Keep up the good work.

If the Conservatives were in power, there would be the same situation
I would like to commend you on an extremely informative programme which I felt was extremely well-researched and presented. It was a real eye-opener and confirmed my worst suspicions about the depth of corruption running through this country. Well done.
Amy Capron, Devon
I have been battling with my local authorities, who are making decisions that the majority of local people do not agree with, but are over-ruled by arrogant and dictatorial government officials.
David Leeson
If the Conservatives were in power, there would be the same situation. They would be as greedy as Labour.
Peter Baylie
Fascinating stuff. This needs proper recognition and more media attention. What I saw infuriated me, even though the programme was in a light-hearted manner. Let's hope something will be done about it. All that hard earned money... the people's money. Yet taxes go up every year, and the government and councils cannot find money for schools. Yet they find enough for quangos. Let's see some change and democracy.
