National Association for People Abused in Childhood
NAPAC supports all adults who were abused in childhood and who continue to suffer the damaging effects into adulthood.

Reporting abuse
The police
If you would like to report abuse you can contact your local police station which has specially trained child protection team officers.
Police Child Protection Teams
The teams investigate allegations or suspicions of child abuse. They work with social workers from social services departments, or representatives of other caring agencies.
All police officers and social workers receive joint training in this complex and highly sensitive work.
Crimestoppers
Crimestoppers is a registered charity giving national cover. It provides a free phone service to any person with information about crime.
It also provides a means through which people can provide anonymous information regarding crime.
