Tunisia offers safe haven for Assad

Moncef Marzouki, the President of Tunisia is offering Syria's President Bashar el-Assad asylum in the north African country.

He told HARDtalk's Stephen Sackur that President Assad had to have a safe haven to go to "otherwise he will continue to kill and to kill and to kill".

The Syrian leader was a murderer but saving lives was more important than justice, he said.
