Michel Kazantchine is the Executive Director of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. In recent years the Global Fund has found it difficult to raise funds from countries despite promises from around the world. He says that emerging economies also have to increase their contributions and countries such as China and Brazil will need to review their role in helping to fighting the disease in the future.
