Sri Lanka will not 'risk insurgency again'

In late May the Sri Lankan army scored a conclusive military victory over the Tamil Tigers, or LTTE. Some 250,000 Tamil civilians are still being held in camps run by the country's security forces.

Stephen Sackur questioned Palitha Kohona, Sri Lanka's Ambassador to the United Nations about his government's much-criticised humanitarian record and its determination to avoid an international inquiry into the final phase of the 27-year conflict.
