Sir Paul has a record twenty-nine US number one singles |
In a HardTalk Extra interview screened on 7 November, Mishal Husain spoke to Sir Paul McCartney about his remarkable musical legacy -- and why, thirty-five years after the Beatles split, he is still proud to perform their songs.
Sir Paul McCartney is one of the few people in the world who truly can be called a musical icon.
His work with The Beatles and later with his band Wings and as a solo artist has made him the most successful composer in the history of popular music.
He continues to tour and release new music -- Mishal Husain met him in Denver, Colorado, two-thirds of the way through a gruelling US tour.
Sir Paul spoke to Mishal about his new album and how he still misses the late John Lennon.
