Britain's Royal Mail is in serious trouble.

It continues to lose more than a million pounds a day and 30-thousand jobs have been cut in the last six months.

The man brought in to turn its fortunes around is Allan Leighton, one of the UK's leading businessmen.

Along with his chairmanship of Royal Mail he also works for nine other companies.

In the post-Enron business environment there have been calls for 'serial-directors' like Leighton to trim back their commitments so they can dedicate more time to fewer companies.

Tim Sebastian asks if he has he taken on too much.
